A Ghanaian lady has disclosed how she decided to choose her TikTok career over her marriage and has urged her colleague women to do the same.
In a video that has since gone viral, the Ghanaian woman said when she begu her career on TikTok, her husband had issues with it.
However, she was sure of the prospects and did not pay a listening ear to the criticism from her husband, who kicked vehemently against the decision to post everything online.
Being fed up with the marriage, she called it off to focus on her career as a TikToker and to her it is now paying off.
“My husband kept pestering me about my activities on TikTok but I did not give in to his demands of me leaving the platform. I was so fed up with the marriage that when it came to choosing my career on TikTok and my ex-husband, I chose TikTok and now companies are calling on me to advertise for them. Even the hair I have on was given to me by a company,” the lady proudly said.
The video has elicited reactions from Ghanaians and while some think that she had made a bad decision, some are of the view that she made the best decision to pursue her dream of being an influencer on TikTok.
