Nigerian entertainer Peller and his girlfriend, Jarvis have stirred conversations about fidelity in relationships during their appearance on Honest Brunch, a popular talk show hosted by Nedu Wazobia.
The couple, who have been in the spotlight since Peller’s public proposal to Jarvis before a UK performance, delved into the challenges of modern relationships, sparking mixed reactions from viewers.
The conversation took a controversial turn when Peller addressed the topic of infidelity. Speaking candidly, he remarked,
“Let’s not deceive ourselves; it’s almost expected that men will cheat. It’s not right, but society seems to normalize it.” The statement drew visible discomfort from Jarvis, who was seated beside him.
Unable to hide her frustration, Jarvis immediately called him out. “How can you sit next to me, your fiancée, and make such a statement? It’s disrespectful, especially knowing the audience this program attracts,” she countered, her voice firm but calm.
In an attempt to clarify his stance, Peller softened his tone but still stirred further debate. “I’m not saying it’s okay for men to cheat,” he explained.
“What I mean is, if it happens, it’s often overlooked. But if a woman does the same, it’s treated like the end of the world.”
Jarvis, however, remained steadfast in her opposition, responding with conviction. “Infidelity is infidelity, no matter who does it.
“Any man who cheats is a dog. There’s no excuse for betraying someone you claim to love,” she said defiantly.
