Member of Parliament elect, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, has pledged to make youth employment his primary focus during his tenure.
The newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North outlined his ambitious plans to address unemployment in his constituency and beyond in an interview with Asempa FM.
“Unemployment is a major challenge in this country, especially in my constituency, and I am determined to tackle it head-on.
“I have a successful business in the UK, and I plan to replicate that success here in Ghana,” he revealed in the exclusive interview monitored by MyNewsGh.
Hon. Frimpong explained his strategy to set up factories in the Asante Akyem North Constituency as a way to provide sustainable jobs for the youth.
“These factories will not only benefit my constituency but also create employment opportunities for over 2,000 unemployed youth across the country,” he said.
Drawing from his extensive experience as a business owner, the MP expressed confidence in his ability to attract investors to Ghana.
“My goal is to introduce my business model to the Ghanaian market and collaborate with stakeholders to bring in investments that will drive economic growth,” Frimpong stated.
The newly elected MP emphasized that his vision aligns with his promise to prioritize the needs of his constituents.
He assured voters that his tenure would be defined by tangible actions, starting with initiatives to uplift the community through job creation.
