Reports available to MyNewsGh.com indicate that there has been a car accident involving Bishop Salifu Amoako, the founder and leader of Alive Chapel International.
The accident, which occurred near Tesano Papaye, involved a total of five cars.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but the vehicles involved sustained significant damage.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and authorities are yet to provide further details.
Eyewitness accounts suggest a chaotic scene, with bystanders expressing relief that the incident did not result in any casualties.
This event comes in the wake of another family-related tragedy.
Bishop Amoako’s son, Elrad Amoako, was previously embroiled in a fatal car accident at East Legon that claimed the lives of two teenage girls.
In that case, a 16-year-old boy was at the center of the unfortunate event, colliding with another vehicle and causing the fatalities.
Initially pleading not guilty to charges including manslaughter, negligent harm, and dangerous driving, the teenager later changed his plea to guilty.
The Family and Juvenile Court in Accra then sentenced him to six months at the Senior Correctional Centre.
