The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim has addressed party members following the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections.
Addressing the press at the NPP headquarters in Asylum Down, Ntim acknowledged the tough moment the party is facing but emphasized that it is not the end for the NPP.
“Indeed, this is a difficult time for us as a Party, but we are a resilient people,” Ntim stated, rallying the troops to stay strong.
“We must, and we will rise again from this defeat. We are reorganizing ourselves for the battles of tomorrow.”
Despite the disappointment, Ntim expressed optimism and encouraged the party to turn this setback into a learning opportunity. “Fellow Party Members, this means we cannot give up.
“We must engage the restructuring process with all the energies we can master to get the elephant trumpeting again,” he said, urging members to push forward with determination.
In his signature style, Ntim invoked the NPP’s popular slogan to inspire confidence in the party’s supporters.
“Kukrudu!!! Kukrudu!!! Kukruuuuduuu!!!” he cried out, signaling to the party faithful that the NPP’s journey is far from over.
