Founder and leader of AriseGhana, Rex Owusu Marfo popularly called Rex Omar has said President Mahama should not be pressured to make certain appointments.
Responding to the number of people who are currently lobbying to be given positions, he said certain appointments which will not be beneficial should be avoided.
Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast, he said “Over 6 million people voted for President Mahama to win the elections and there’s no way that all the 6 million people can be given an appointment.
“That’s not possible so I feel that with the appointments we should allow the President and leave him because he’s the leader of the enormous task ahead of us.
“In the President’s own wisdom and the elderly people around him they should select those who are fit for purpose to help us achieve what we have planned to do,” he added in an interview.
He continued “The onus lies on him so we should not pressurize the President or push him to make certain appointments which will not help us to achieve what we told Ghanaians”.
