For the 12th time since the beginning of 2024, the national power grid has collapsed.
The collapse of the national power grid was announced on X by the official handle of Nigeria’s National Grid at about 2.09 pm on Wednesday, December 11.
The post said, “The major grid setback has occurred and the restoration is to commence.”
Meanwhile, in a different but similar post on X, the Abuja Distribution Company (AEDC) announced a power outage on the grid.
The AEDC also said that grid will be up after a maintenance which would last for one hour.
The company also urged its customers to exercise patience while work is on going on the grid.
