The National Democratic Congress (NDC) secured a monumental victory in the 2024 elections, and according to Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the party, divine intervention played a key role in their success.
Gyamfi made this statement during a gathering with Prophet Owusu Bempah and his followers, where he expressed profound gratitude to the clergymen and women who supported the NDC throughout their election campaign.
In his address, Gyamfi said, “We are immensely grateful for the spiritual support we received. The victory we celebrate today is not just the result of hard work on the ground, but also the prayers and spiritual guidance of many dedicated pastors and prophets.”
He emphasized that the NDC left no stone unturned in their efforts to ensure victory, making it clear that their preparation was both physical and spiritual.
“We engaged in thorough preparations, including spiritual endeavours, to avoid any unforeseen obstacles,” Gyamfi added.
The involvement of the clergy, especially Prophet Owusu Bempah, who had predicted a win for John Dramani Mahama in the lead-up to the election, was also acknowledged.
Gyamfi noted that the prophet’s accurate prediction further validated his credibility, stating, “Prophet Owusu Bempah has proven to be an indispensable and credible prophet.
“His prophecy about Mahama’s victory was not just accurate, but also a significant part of the reason we’re celebrating today.”
While the NDC worked tirelessly to win over voters across the country, Gyamfi emphasized that the spiritual support provided by the clergy had a profound impact on the outcome.
“We are thankful to the many pastors who gave their time, prayers, and resources to support our cause,” he said. “Their sacrifices and efforts were vital, and they truly deserve recognition for standing by us through this journey.”
