Ghana’s Interior Minister and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central, Henry Quartey has lost his seat in Parliament.
Henry Quartey after the election, garnered 23,339 votes, while his closest contender in the National Democratic Congress, Abdul Tubazu won with 29,965.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has maintained the Old Tafo seat in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Ekow Vincent Assafuah garnered 31,106 votes in the election to retain his seat.
