Bawumia casts his ballot, hopeful of victory for NPP


Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Paty (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has cast his ballot in the ongoing election.

He cast his ballot around 8 am in Walewale, his hometown in the North East Region.

The New Patriotic Party, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cast his vote at the Kperiga Presby D/A primary school polling station in the Walewale constituency of the North East region.

The Vice President is hopeful that he will lead Ghana after the 2024 elections and expects a resounding victory for his political party.

Addressing the media after casting his ballot, Dr Mahamudud Bawumia indicated that he is optimistic of a win for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. I think that we have done a lot of work; we have put our message to the people, and I think that the message has been well received, and I believe that by the grace of God when all the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious,” he said.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was optimistic that Ghanaians will turn out to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party indicating that he is impressed with the reports he has received across the country.
