Nana Osabarima Backs Bawumia, Cites Development and Humility as Key Strengths

In a recent show of support, Nana Osabarima Antwi Agyei V, the Twafohene of Buem, praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, during a courtesy visit aimed at securing backing ahead of Ghana’s upcoming elections.

Nana Osabarima’s admiration for Dr. Bawumia’s leadership was clear as he underscored the vice president’s widespread popularity, a feat that, according to him, had never been seen in Ghana’s political history.

The traditional ruler explained that Dr. Bawumia’s humility and unique character had made him stand out among other political figures.

“I have been around for a long time, and I can confidently say that Dr. Bawumia is the first vice president in our history to command such widespread respect and affection. It’s his humility and unique qualities that have endeared him to so many,” Nana Osabarima stated.

He went on to express his belief that these qualities would not go unnoticed by the people of Ghana, and he hoped that such recognition would translate into significant support for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming general elections.

“I hope that all Ghanaians will see the good in him, and that will reflect in the votes come election day,” Nana Osabarima added.

Beyond his praise for Dr. Bawumia, the Twafohene also extended his gratitude to the NPP government for its ongoing contributions to national development, particularly in the Buem region.

He mentioned several projects funded by the government, noting that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership had played a pivotal role in supporting initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, healthcare, and education.

“We have seen the impact of the NPP government, and I thank Dr. Bawumia and the party for their support. We are grateful for the development projects that have reached our communities, and we look forward to even greater strides in the future,” Nana Osabarima concluded.
