Invading Ashanti region won’t change anything

A leading New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah alias COKA, has informed the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) not to waste their time in the Ashanti Region.

Senior members of the opposition NDC have been in the Ashanti Region all week, granting interviews and campaigning to the people of the region.

The NDC believes that increasing its votes in the Ashanti Region can help propel their votes towards victory.

But in a post shared via social media, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah popularly known as COKA indicated that the Ashanti Region has made its mind up and will not vote for any other political party than the NPP.

His post shared via social media read “They’re picnicking, so they’re all in the Ashanti region now. Good morning to my NDC friends who traveled from Accra and are currently in Kumasi, but we’ve already made our decision for the Ashanti region and won’t change it. If you need a place to eat fufu, please call me. Coka, I care”.

Ghana goes to the polls on December 7. The governing NPP wants to make history as the first to break the eight-year cycle of politicians, whiles the NDC believes now is their time to come back to power after eight years of opposition.
