Court bailiff, Police Officers and Judgement creditor invaded Metro TV —Ghana Police Service


The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into an invasion of the studios of Metro Television in Accra.

Preliminary investigations indicate that upon a request from the court, police officers accompanied a court bailiff in the company of the judgment creditor, Vodacom Business (Ghana) Limited, to execute a court order against Metro TV.

The police urged the public to remain calm and cooperate with the police in the ongoing investigation.

It will be recalled that during Good Morning Ghana today, November 27, 2024, armed men and some civilians stormed the studios of Metro Television.

The host Randy Abbey who was peeved by the decision to disrupt the show said “We do not know what it is for, but they were trying to forcibly enter the studio”.

Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwasi Pratt and Dr Richard Asante Yeboah, Executive Secretary, Public Servants Housing Loan Scheme were guests on the Good Morning Ghana show when the incident occurred.
